Church Office Building
An iconic downtown tower and global headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Über
The Church Office Building rises 28 stories above downtown Salt Lake City and serves as the worldwide headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Completed in 1972 and dedicated in 1975, the building brought many Church departments together in one location to support its growing global membership.
The exterior of the building features a large bas-relief of the globe. The design symbolizes the worldwide reach of the Church and its efforts to share the gospel of Jesus Christ across nations and cultures.
Inside, teams coordinate efforts such as language translation, media production, missionary support, and temple administration. Although the tower offices are not open to the public, visitors are welcome to view artwork in the lobby and enjoy the landscaped grounds.
